For our hosted product, you can upload images for use using the 'My Images' tab.

We're planning on supporting that feature in The Gliffy Plugin for Confluence soon.

Is there a way where I can add my own library of shapes to gliffy? In addition to the basic library "categories" (flowchart, UML, etc.) I would like to additional categories of shapes that would be specific for the company I work for and have in-house created shapes for people to use. Thanks for any suggestions.

Hi Ben,

We're planning on adding the new symbols to the Confluence plugin in Q1 2008... so hopefully very soon!

How do we go about getting these improvements into the Confluence plugin version?

The prettier our Confluence Gliffy diagram's are, the more traction we get with users.

At the moment it's hard because the diagrams aren't as pretty as Visio 2003; and this is compounded by Visio still being easier to use (e.g. better routing of connectors and alignment tools).

Hi Chris,

Thanks for the suggestion. Do you have any examples of these types of shapes that you may have seen? That would help us ensure that we build exactly what you have in mind.

thanks!

Would love to see an industry library, showing buildings & trucks, etc. to illustrate business process flows for manufacturing, sales and distribution.
