As teams and organizations seek to increase productivity and improve collaboration while working remotely or across offices, managing complex projects and keeping track of feedback and approvals can be a challenge. monday.com is one of several leading work management tools that has emerged as a solution.
monday.com is designed to be a flexible platform that allows teams to build their own workflows to fit their needs. These can be used for general project management, but can also be used to create dashboards and share data or analytics across teams, track inventory or sales leads, collect feedback via forms, and more.
You can learn more about monday.com and sign up for a free trial or demo via their homepage. Or, learn more about the integration with monday.com on our monday.com integration page.
Current monday.com users will be familiar with the “boards” associated with each project in monday.com. These are views of tasks, calendars, and other resources that appear as tabs in the monday.com app. With Gliffy added to your monday.com workspace, you can add diagrams as their own board view alongside the tasks and information in your project.
This is helpful for building references and documentation across all types of work:
To get started, you’ll need a free trial or paid account with both Gliffy Online and monday.com. Read on for step-by-step instructions or check out our monday.com tutorial video for a walkthrough.
Follow these basic steps to get started:
From the Gliffy app on monday.com marketplace, click the blue “Get Started” button in the upper right. You may be prompted to sign up or log in to monday.com.
Board views in monday.com are like tabs containing information about your project. Every diagram you want to add will need to be added as its own view.
Gliffy will be listed under the "Marketplace Apps" category.
This will add a board view of the Gliffy editor. You may be prompted to sign in to your Gliffy Online account or sign up for a free trial of Gliffy Online, if you haven't yet.
You can now create a diagram directly within monday.com. If you're already a Gliffy user, you can also open a diagram from your documents.
Diagrams created in monday.com will also be available in your Gliffy Online account, which can be accessed by logging in to go.gliffy.com. Any updates made to your diagrams in one place will be reflected in the other location.
