GliffyHack! Fall 2012 GliffyToon Drawing Contest

According to my calendar, this Saturday, September 22, is the first day of fall. (At least, it is here in the northern hemisphere. Happy spring to all you antipodeans!)

In celebration of the season, we’re holding a Fall-themed Drawing Contest, and all Gliffy users are welcome to enter!

Here’s how it works

  1. Open up Gliffy and use any shapes, connectors, and/or text boxes to draw a fall scene: changing leaves, jack-o-lanterns, fresh apples, whatever you want.
  2. Tweet your drawing along with the hashtag #gliffytoon.
    1. Gliffy Online users can click the Blog & Share This Diagram button in the upper right corner to set diagram permissions to public and locate the link for sharing.
    2. Gliffy Confluence Plugin users can go to File > Export as PNG to get a .png image to attach to their tweets.

We’ll select a winner at random on October 1, 2012, to receive an awesome Gliffy Gear prize. The winner will be contacted via Twitter. All submissions will be collected in a gallery post on the Gliffy blog the week of October 1.

The annoying fine print
Gliffy employees may enter, but are not eligible for a prize (sorry guys!). All entrants are welcome to submit as many drawings as you want — so you’re covered if you come up with an even better idea after you’ve already submitted. All entries must be submitted via Twitter and must be tagged #gliffytoon. GliffyToons using imported images will be disqualified from the prize drawing.

Other than that, go crazy!

Good luck!
